Bottled water straight from Tuscany, Italy but does Acqua Panna have fluoride?
Now it does seem like bottled water from Italy contains low levels of fluoride. But to be 100% confident, I decided to buy a bottle of Acqua Panna and test it with a fluoride meter.
Does Acqua Panna Water Have Fluoride?
After testing hundreds, if not thousands of different products by now. I think it’s safe to say, it’s not a good idea to trust what a brand says.
So before we get to testing Acqua Panna, let’s see what they say about their fluoride levels…
According to the label located at the back of the bottle, Acqua Panna water should contain less than 0.1 ppm of fluoride.
If true, this would rank it with some of the lowest fluoride levels among our list of bottled water without fluoride (article where you can search the fluoride content of 178+ brands).
However, let’s double check this information by testing a sample with a fluoride meter.
Important note: the photo below is from my most recent round of testing with the most up to date fluoride test result of Acqua Panna (I retest brands to make sure information is accurate and has not changed).
According to the fluoride meter, Acqua Panna water contains 0.0 ppm of fluoride.
Less fluoride than what’s found in another premium brand of bottled water called Montellier, which in does Montellier water have fluoride – was tested and contained 0.2 ppm of fluoride.
Now considering Acqua Panna is spring water that’s naturally filtered, the 0.0 ppm result is amazing. Since natural levels of fluoride in spring water should be around 0.05 ppm.
So in regards to fluoride it gets the pass but there is a little more you should know…
