Usually most brands would have their fluoride levels on the label of the bottle.

But in the case of AHA, this is not the case and their water quality report is hard to find online.

So to figure this out, the only thing we can do is test a sample of AHA water with a fluoride meter…

aha bottled water tested for fluoride, 0.2 ppm result

According to the fluoride meter, AHA water contains 0.2 ppm of fluoride.

Which would rank AHA sparkling water quite high on the list of 121+ brands of bottled water without fluoride.

Now considering “natural spring water” is not mentioned on the bottle, it’s very likely AHA water is tap water. Which is not filtered with a water filter that effectively removes fluoride.

But the good news is that there are many other flavored carbonated brands that offer fluoride-free water like Zevia. Which in does Zevia water have fluoride – was shown to contain 0.0 ppm of fluoride.

However, there are a couple other ingredients found in AHA water and many other flavored waters that you should avoid.

Does AHA Sparking Water Have Caffeine?

According to the AHA website, the following flavors contain 30 mg of caffeine:

  • Citrus + Green Tea
  • Black Cherry + Coffee

While the rest of the flavors are caffeine-free:

  • Blueberry + Pomegranate
  • Orange + Grapefruit
  • Lime + Watermelon
  • Strawberry + Cucumber
  • Peach + Honey
  • Apple + Ginger

Does AHA Sparkling Water Have Artificial Sweeteners?

AHA water prides themselves in having “No Sweeteners, no sodium, no calories” and that they’re “naturally” flavored.

But the truth is the “natural flavors” you see on a nutrition label, are not that natural.

In fact, it’s not a regulated term by the government and the only rule is that you have to start with something natural.

However, afterwards scientists can add up to 100 chemicals to it and still be able to call it “natural”.

So both artificial and natural flavors should be avoided.
