All the way from central Italy but does Frasassi water have fluoride?
Now considering many other fluoride tests I’ve done, I’d have to say for some odd reason water from Italy seems to contain more fluoride on average, than other brands from other parts of the world.
But hopefully that’s not the case this time.
Does Frasassi Water Have Fluoride?
To answer this question, I’ll test a sample of Frasassi water with a fluoride meter.
However, before we get there let’s take a look at what Frasassi say about their own water…
According to the label located on the side of a Frasassi water bottle, Frasassi water should contain 0.17 ppm of fluoride.
Now since it’s not been uncommon to see a different number on the bottle than what’s inside. It’s a good idea to test this ourselves and see if it’s accurate.
So let’s test a sample of Frasassi with a fluoride meter…
According to the fluoride meter, Frasassi water contains 0.3 ppm of fluoride.
Which would rank Frasassi bottled water with some of the higest levels of fluoride when compared to the other 187+ brands on our list of bottled water without fluoride.
Just as high as a Polish brand called Naleczowianka, which in does Naleczowianka water have fluoride – was reported and tested to contain 0.3 ppm of fluoride.
But it’s not all bad news…
If you’re looking for an Italian brand that offers fluoride-free bubbly water, San Benedetto offers exactly that.
However putting that aside, there is one issue with bottled water you should be aware of.
The issue is that even if a brand is low in fluoride, it doesn’t mean it’s safe to drink.
And in the case of Frasassi, it’s not even low in fluoride. So no need to talk about all the other things that could make a brand unsafe to drink.
