A great question when you consider how toxic fluoride is.
So to answer this, I’ve contacted Highland Spring directly. Followed by buying and testing a bottle with a fluoride meter to double check if what they’re saying is true.
Does Highland Spring Water Have Fluoride?
Normally I’d look at the water quality report but it can not be found online. It’s also hard to get Highland Spring where I live (USA and Canada). But because you deserve nothing but the best information, I flew to the UK, bought a bottle, and tested it.
But our first step in figuring out how much fluoride is in a bottle, was to email their support team.
And here’s a screenshot of their response…
According to the Highland Spring group technical team, Highland Spring water contains 0.07 ppm of fluoride. Which is an extremely low and safe amount of fluoride to consume.
And would rank Highland Spring well among all the brands mentioned at bottled water without fluoride (link to where you can search the fluoride content of 178+ brands).
In fact, it’s as much better than Buxton (another famous UK brand) which in does Buxton water have fluoride – was found to contain 0.2 ppm of fluoride.
But before I get carried away, let’s double check the results with a fluoride meter…
According to the fluoride meter, Highland Spring water contains 0.0 ppm of fluoride – confirming the information provided by the Highland Spring customer service team.
With that being said, there’s a little bit more you should know about bottled water.
