All the way from the pristine natural springs of Iceland, but does Icelandic Glacial water have fluoride?
If Icelandic Glacial water is anywhere near what they say it is, it should be fluoride-free.
So to figure this out, I tested a sample with a fluoride meter.
Does Icelandic Glacial Water Have Fluoride?
According to Icelandic Glacial, their water contains 0 ppm of fluoride.
It must be the “ancient lava rock” it’s filtered through.
But there is one problem with all of this…
The problem is that 0 ppm of fluoride could be 0.1, 0.2 or even 0.4 ppm of fluoride.
Which means the only way to know for sure, is to test it with a fluoride meter…
According to the fluoride meter, Icelandic Glacial water contains 0.0 ppm of fluoride.
Ranking Icelandic Glacial water well among the 121+ brands on our list of bottled water without fluoride.
Which makes sense considering natural spring water should contain very low levels of fluoride. For example, even a cheaper but natural brand like Ice Mountain contains no fluoride as shown in does Ice Mountain water have fluoride.
But before we celebrate, there’s one HUGE issue when it comes to bottled water.
That issue is that even if a brand is fluoride-free, it doesn’t not mean it’s 100% safe to drink.
Now this could be for many reasons but the biggest one is the fact many brands of bottled water are filled with microplastics.
