As one of the most popular brands of bottled water in North America, it’s time to answer, does Nestle Pure Life water have fluoride?
And to answer this, I tested a bottle with a fluoride meter.
By the way, read past the fluoride results as I’ll show you the best and safest brands of bottled water.
Does Nestle Pure Life Water Have Fluoride?
According to the label of a Nestle Pure Life water bottle, their “Natural Spring Water” contains 0.4 ppm of fluoride. While the fluoride meter registered 0.3 ppm of fluoride, confirming that Nestle Pure Life was does have fluoride.
This would rank Nestle Pure Life’s natural spring water with some of the highest levels of fluoride when compared to the 121+ brands on our list of bottled water without fluoride.
Even higher than Fiji, Montellier, and Perrier.
Now let me show you the results and proof.
Clearly, as you can see, on the bottle of water it lists fluoride levels of 0.4 ppm (pictured above).
This is odd, considering their website states their water does not contain fluoride.
But this is why it’s best to test it, as sometimes the numbers don’t match with reality.
For example, in does Arto Lifewtr have fluoride, the label stated 2.4 ppm of fluoride (I couldn’t believe it either) but then the fluoride meter detected 0.0 ppm.
So here’s a picture of me testing a bottle of Nestle Pure Life water with a fluoride meter (0.3 ppm result).
Now I must say, Nestle is a huge brand and they source their water from many different places. So it’s best if you look at what’s printed on the bottle’s label, as fluoride levels may vary.
But with these results, I believe Nestle Pure Life should be a strong pass for any health conscious individual.
Especially when you consider there are many fluoride-free brands.
Brands that filter their water using a fluoride water filter like reverse osmosis or distillers, which both have been shown to completely remove fluoride when tested.
But it’s important to know, just because a brand is fluoride-free, doesn’t mean it’s safe to drink.
This could be for many reasons, but the biggest one is many brands are filled with microplastics.
In fact, Nestle Pure Life is very high in microplastics.
