One of the biggest brands of bottled water in the United States, but does Poland Spring water have fluoride?
To figure this out, I bought a bottle of Poland Spring and tested it with a fluoride meter.
Just stick past the fluoride test results, as I’ll share with you the safest/best brands of bottled water.
Does Poland Spring Water Have Fluoride?
According to the Poland Spring water quality report, their distilled, sparkling and origin water does not contain fluoride. Although their spring water is reported to contain anywhere from 0 to 0.25 ppm of fluoride. Depending on where the water was sourced from.
Now let me show you how I got these results and explain a couple of things…
Starting off with a screenshot of the water quality report from Poland Spring.
As you can see all of Poland Spring’s water contains an “ND” amount of fluoride which stands for “non-detectable” and in this case, means less than 0.1 ppm of fluoride.
However when it comes to their spring water, fluoride levels can go up to 0.25 ppm of fluoride.
This is because Poland Spring gets their water from many different places and each place has different fluoride levels.
That’s why when I tested a sample, it came back fluoride-free at 0.0 ppm (pictured below).
But it’s possible that your bottle may contain up to 0.25 ppm of fluoride.
Which is just as high as Fiji water, which in does Fiji water have fluoride – was reported to have 0.24 ppm, while the fluoride meter confirmed levels of 0.2 ppm.
So with that in mind, it’s best if you go with a brand that only sells fluoride-free water.
