A highly requested brand so let’s figure out the answer to does Trader Joe’s water have fluoride?
Considering fluoride’s toxic nature and the fact so many people shop at this store and buy their water, it seems like a great question to ask.
So let’s get right to it…
Does Trader Joe’s Water Have Fluoride?
Since Trader Joe’s sells many different types of water, I’ve decided to buy and test them all with a fluoride meter. Now for the purpose of this article, I’ll only be showing the pictures for one but all results can be found below.
Now let’s see what the fluoride meter discovered…
According to the fluoride meter, Trader Joe’s water contains anywhere from 0.0 to 0.3 ppm of fluoride. To be exact, Trader Joe’s alkaline water contains 0.0 ppm, sparkling plain mineral water contains 0.3 ppm, and their mountain spring water contains 0.2 ppm of fluoride.
This would rank Trader Joe’s with fairly high fluoride levels compared to other brands at bottled water without fluoride (where you can search the fluoride content of 127+ brands of bottled water).
Now 0.2 or 0.3 ppm is too high for many people, so you may want to find a different brand.
But to be as accurate as possible, I’ve included the results of all the bottles of water I’ve tested from Trader Joe’s below (continuously updated).
Type | Fluoride | Source |
---|---|---|
Alkaline + Electrolytes | 0.0 ppm | Filtered |
Sparkling Plain Mineral | 0.3 ppm | Napa, Soloma |
Natural Mountain Spring | 0.2 ppm | Olancha or Weed |
Normally I’d tell people to double check the source of their water but it seems like Trader Joe’s fluoride levels are a bit high.
So I’d recommend you go with a different brand like Whole Foods or even a store like Sprouts which in does Sprouts water have fluoride – was shown to contain anywhere from 0.0 to 0.1 ppm.
But better yet, here’s something you’ll find useful…
