It’s time to turn our attention North (aka, Canada) and ask our beloved question, does President’s Choice water have fluoride?
A great question, especially when you consider most of Canada’s tap water is fluoridated, so hopefully President’s choice offers us a fluoride-free option.
So let’s jump straight to the answer.
Does President’s Choice Water Have Fluoride?
According to President’s Choice, their water contains 0 ppm of fluoride.
And right off the bat, there’s a potential issue…
If a brand just says 0, without any decimals (0.1, 0.2, 0.3, etc.), it could be greater than 0 and maybe contain 0.2 or 0.4 ppm of fluoride.
This means, the only way to truly find out the real fluoride levels, is to test it ourselves.
Which was my next step…
As I took a sample of President’s Choice and tested it with a fluoride meter…
According to the fluoride meter, President’s Choice water contains 0.0 ppm of fluoride.
Which confirms the “0” we saw on the bottle’s label.
Making President’s Choice one of several brands that are fluoride-free among the 187+ brands at bottled water without fluoride.
Much better than Real Canadian (another brand from Canada) which in does Real Canadian water have fluoride – was reported to contain anywhere from 0.07 ppm to 0.28 ppm of fluoride.
But before we start celebrating, you should know about the HUGE issue about bottled water…
This issue is that even if a brand is fluoride-free, it doesn’t mean it’s 100% safe to drink.
